Dutch Bros is a coffee chain that serves some of the world’s most delectable beverages. On their main menu, they have dozens of different types of drinks.
But did you know that Dutch Bros has a secret menu with nearly a hundred items that aren’t displayed publicly?
Every single Dutch Bros secret menu item is listed below. Take a look, and if you see anything you like, try requesting it the next time you visit a location.
Menu items on the Dutch Bros Secret coffee menu
Secret menus are typically only available at the local Dutch Bros, though some locations may list them on their website. What exactly is a secret menu, you may wonder? If you’ve never been to a Dutch Bros before, you might be surprised to learn that they have a secret menu.
Secret menus are commonly used by businesses to test new products or to surprise customers with new items. These items are frequently available, but they are not advertised as part of the regular menu. If you want to try one of these secret menu items, make sure to request it the next time you visit a Dutch Bros location.
These secret coffee items can be ordered hot or cold. We recommend ordering them cold because they are much tastier than the hot versions. If you want to spice up your caffeine fix, check out some of these hidden items at Dutch Bros.
Perhaps you prefer Dutch classics like Nitro Cold Brew, Private Reserve, and Americano, or something chocolatier like a nice Dutch Cocoa and Cocomo Mocha. Other popular Dutch Bros drinks include the Iced Double Torture, Dutch Freeze, Annihilator, and Dutch Bros Rebel Energy Drink. Whatever your tastes are, you’re sure to find a secret menu item that suits them here. So, let’s get started!
Ba Nay Nay
The Ba Nay Nay, possibly my favourite secret menu item, is a mocha made with dark chocolate and bananas and topped with a mountain of whipped cream.
Banana bread fans, rejoice: there’s a drink just for you. If you ask for a “Banana Bread” drink at Dutch Bros, you’ll be served a creamy blend of hazelnut and creme de banana syrup. This drink is so creamy because it is made with half and half cream rather than milk.
This is most likely the most well-known item on Dutch Bros’ secret menu. It’s made with dark chocolate and coconut and topped with whipped cream. And, yes, the combination tastes fantastic. There’s a reason this beverage is so popular.
The Candy Cane is a peppermint mocha with whipped cream, candy cane sprinkles, and a drizzle of dark chocolate. While it is usually most popular during the winter holidays, customers can order it all year.
Do you enjoy eggnog? The already sweet flavour of egg nog has been greatly enhanced. The Caramel Nog is a buttery caramel eggnog latte.
Are you not a fan of caramel? The Caramel Nog isn’t the only egg nog latte on the Secret Bros menu. The Chai Nog is a green tee eggnog latte.
If the cashier only gives you a cookie, make sure you ask for a Cookie DRINK. But, to be honest, it’s basically a liquid cookie. It’s made with half and half cream instead of milk, as well as chocolate macadamia nut and white chocolate. If you prefer, you can request a chocolate chip substitution.
The Crazy Hawaiian, also known as the Wallaby, is a caramel, chocolate macadamia nut, and dark chocolate mocha.
The Cure is a late afternoon slump “cure.” It’s a stimulating blend of espresso, chocolate milk, and cinnamon. If you require more espresso, request more shots.
Can’t get enough of rich, buttery caramel? The Dirty Macchiato may become your new favourite beverage at Dutch Bros. It’s a combination of half and half cream, English toffee, and caramel.
French Toast Breve
As someone who adores french toast for breakfast, this drink is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. It has the flavour of French toast! Pro tip: While eating french toast, drink French Toast Breve (not for the faint of heart).
German Chocolate Mocha
The German Chocolate is a Dutch Bros secret menu item that is no longer so secret because so many people request it! It’s a caramel, coconut, and dark chocolate mocha.
The Golden Eagle
Another espresso-based breve with creme, caramel, and vanilla syrup. The best part is that it comes with a mound of whipped cream drizzled with caramel syrup.
Grand Canyon Latte
A fantastic treat for chocolate lovers! The Grand Canyon Latte is a milky latte made with white chocolate, chocolate macademia nut, and white chocolate. Chocolate lovers will be in heaven.
Creme de menthe and dark chocolate are used to make this dessert. Simple but oh so rich and chocolatey, with a minty kick (and topped with whipped cream)
Dutch Bros truly has something for everyone. If you enjoy the flavours of cinnamon and dark chocolate, the Molten Lava is made with just those two ingredients. On top of your whipped cream, request chocolate drizzel and cinnamon powder.
Ninja Turtle Mocha
Order the Ninja Turtle if you like mint chocolate but don’t like dark chocolate. It’s similar to The Grasshopper, except it’s made with white chocolate instead of dark chocolate.
The Nutty Irishman
A delicious combination of half and half cream, Irish cream, and hazelnut. You simply must try this one.
Some people (perhaps including myself) prefer the topped whipped cream and drizzle over the drink itself. If that describes you, request “Picture Perfect” when ordering any menu item, and they’ll top your drink with whipped cream, caramel, and chocolate drizzle.
A delicious combination of caramel, white chocolate, and dark chocolate. Request that it be “Picture Perfect” and… Yummmm.
Pumpkin Pie Breve
It’s the closest thing to drinking a pumpkin pie you’ll get in October!
S’more Breve Latte
Okay, this one is designed specifically for s’mores fans. Dark chocolate, white chocolate, chocolate macadamia, brown sugar, and cinnamon syrup are used to make it. Brown sugar tastes like marshmallows, and when combined with chocolate and cinnamon, it’s absolutely delicious.

Have you ever tried drinking a sugar cookie? You can do so now. The Sugar Cookie contains almond roca, white chocolate, and vanilla extract. It’s one of my all-time favourites from the Secret Bros secret menu.

White Coffee Cookie Breve: This white chocolate and macadamia nut sensation tastes exactly like freshly baked cookies.
S’mores White Coffee Breve
Another one for fans of white chocolate, dark chocolate, and s’mores. It’s made with brown sugar cinnamon (tastes like marshmallows), chocolate macadamia, white and dark chocolate, and macadamia nuts.
The White Russian
It’s basically the Kicker with some white chocolate thrown in for good measure. Nothing out of the ordinary, but it tastes fantastic and is a welcome upgrade to the Kicker.
Zombie in White
If you’re looking for a white chocolate rush, the White Zombie is made from white chocolate and vanilla breve. It’s rich, creamy, and deliciously sweet.
Secret Menu of Dutch Bros Frost
Maybe you’re not a big coffee drinker. Not to worry! Frosts are another specialty of Dutch Bros. Dutch Bros’ milkshakes are known as Frosts. You might also want to know if frosts have a secret menu. These drinks are ideal for those who cannot tolerate the sweetness of a traditional ice cream shake. They come in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mint, and many other flavours! However, if you’re looking for something a little different, you might be interested in their secret menu flavours. Here are some of the Frost items on the secret menu.

Capt’N Crunch Frost
This secret drink, made with strawberries and hazelnuts, tastes exactly like Crunch Berries cereal.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frost
The Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frost, made with white chocolate and brown sugar cinnamon, tastes exactly like the cereal and is insanely delicious.
Cotton Candy Frost
The combination of white chocolate and blue rasberry tastes exactly like cotton candy. I’d even argue that it tastes better than cotton candy with the white chocolate and whipped cream topping. I say this lightly because I enjoy cotton candy.
When I was a kid, I probably ate over a thousand creamsicles (which may explain why I’m addicted to the sugary drinks at Dutch Bros). For me, the Orangesicle Frost is a nostalgic drink. It’s made with white and orange chocolate.

FAQs and insider information
If you’re new to Dutch Bros, here are some helpful hints and frequently asked questions about their products.
What exactly is a breve?
A breve is a coffee drink made with half and half (whole milk and cream) instead of milk. In my opinion, it tastes richer, creamier, and more delicious overall.
What exactly is a rebel drink?
Rebel Drinks are energy drinks sold at Dutch Bros. They’re essentially cold drinks mixed with Dutch Bros’ Red Bull energy drinks. When I need some caffeine but don’t feel like drinking coffee, I order a Rebel drink. They are available on ice or blended into a slushie.
What is the distinction between a Frost and a Freeze beverage?
A milkshake is what a Dutch Bros Frost is. There is no caffeine present. An espresso drink is a Dutch Bros Freeze. Both Frosts and Freezes are served as icy slushies. The only difference is that caffeine is present.
You know how you can order “animal style” fries at In and Out but they don’t have them on the menu? Dutch Bros has a few of these cool things you could request that aren’t on the main menu. Only those who know how to ask for them will be able to obtain them.
Insider Tip #1: Request that your rebel drink be caffeine-free.
Want to try a Rebel drink but don’t want the energy drink kick? Simply request that no caffeine be served. Okay, so this isn’t exactly a secret tip, but it’s something that many people I’ve talked to don’t think about.
Insider Tip #2: Request “Picture Perfect” photos.
When you order any drink at Dutch Bros, ask for “Picture Perfect,” and they’ll top it with whipped cream, caramel, and chocolate drizzle.
Insider Tip #3: Request “Make It Shine.”
This is a tip for ordering Rebel Drinks. Request “Make It Shine,” and they’ll add a visually appealing “shine” effect to your drink. Every time I order a Rebel Drink, I pair it with “Make It Shine.”
Insider Tip #4: Request “Old School.”
This is just a fancy way of saying “please add some vanilla.” It’s just a fun way for the staff to communicate in secret Dutch Bros code.
Insider Tip #5: Request a “Pup-a-ccino.”
Dutch Bros offers this as a secret menu item for dogs. It’s a whipped cream-covered dog treat. Obviously, you should not give it to your dog every day. However, it is a nice way to treat your dog when they accompany you.
Insider Tip #6: Request “Whip Stix.”
Dutch Bros has a secret menu item for children. It’s essentially a straw with whipped cream on the end. It’s a hit with kids, and it usually suffices to keep them still and quiet for a few minutes.. However, once they are finished, the sugar rush usually results in chaos. I’m kidding. When your kids come along, it’s a fun treat to get.
Dutch Bros’ secret menu contains a plethora of unique items not found on the main menu.
What makes these menu items “secret”?
Some people are perplexed as to why these menu items are kept on the secret menu while others are not. While Dutch Bros has never confirmed the exact reason, my guess is that it’s simply because there are so many drinks!
When there are hundreds of options on a menu, it can be difficult to choose. As a result, it’s better to save some of the items for die-hard fans who want to try everything they have to offer.
That’s all there is to it! This is the entire secret menu from Dutch Bros in 2022. Try them out and have fun!
